Johns’ writing is usually on the lengthy, decompressed side and perhaps the revelations of this issue should have occurred a month earlier, but if you have some patience, this series will almost certainly be worth your while.
-
It features some characterisation and action whilst moving the plot along. It’s solid and serviceable superhero action, but it never really enthrals.
-
As long as the quality remains this high, I will be tuning in to see the adventures of the King of the Seven Seas … even if he is living in a lighthouse.
-
Excellent dialogue, a gripping storyline and breath-taking art… it’s pretty much perfect!
-
Slow pacing aside, this story packs good substance and deserves attention.
-
Aquaman has already had some great moments in the short span of his New 52 title, but issue #3 adds a grander scale to the series.
-
Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman may be the shining stars of the DC Universe but with this reboot, Aquaman is becoming the hero to watch.
-
"Aquaman" #3 is good, and I don't feel like it's being dragged out at all, but at the same time I found myself wishing that it felt a little longer.
-
Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis are the perfect team for this book and Aquaman has moved to the top of the reading list each month when it's released. There's plenty of fun, adventure, violence and mystery to satisfy every comic reader.
